Medical Massage

Medical Massage is more than just relaxation; it is a specialized, targeted therapy designed around each individual’s symptoms. I have trained and earned certifications directly in their countries of origin for Traditional Thai massage, Phakhaoma, Tok Sen, Herbal therapies, Japanese Shiatsu, and Korean Meridian massage. In addition, I studied Western Swedish massage at the Canadian College of Health and Science. By integrating all of these modalities, I provide tailored treatments that address your specific pain, muscle tension, and circulation issues. In particular, this unique blend of techniques delivers optimized results for specific conditions such as frozen shoulder, forward head posture (turtle neck), lower back pain, and tension headaches.

Acupuncture

I studied Medical Acupuncture at McMaster University. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture regulates the body’s energy flow to alleviate pain and enhance natural healing. For optimal results, a minimum of 6 sessions is recommended. This therapy is highly effective for a variety of conditions, including chronic headaches, digestive issues, stress, insomnia, and menstrual cramps. It helps restore overall bodily balance and promotes natural recovery without relying on medication.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping therapy applies negative pressure to the skin to stimulate blood circulation and relieve tension in the deeper layers of muscle and tissue. It specifically targets the fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds muscles and organs. By releasing tension in the fascia and improving the supply of blood and oxygen, this therapy reduces pain and enhances range of motion. If the fascia remains constricted, it can lead to muscle atrophy; over time, these long-term restrictions can disrupt the body’s overall balance and function. Releasing the fascia through cupping improves movement and allows each muscle to function at its full, natural capacity.

Manual Therapy

Manual therapy is a hands-on treatment focused on restoring mobility to restricted joints and soft tissues. Rather than just targeting the muscles, this approach utilizes precise joint mobilization, passive stretching, and myofascial release to realign the body’s structure and improve overall biomechanics. It is exceptionally effective for correcting posture, relieving chronic stiffness, and restoring functional movement patterns. By calming the nervous system and reducing structural stress, manual therapy helps you move freely and live without limitations.
